Terroir and production

Located in western Honduras, Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limitada (COCAFCAL) was founded in 1999 by the great-grandson of the first owner of the Capucas farm. Coffee has gradually replaced the historic cultivation of Tobacco, and the Caturra variety has flourished at over 1400m altitude in a lush forest environment.
