L'Arbre à Café dreamed of it and Nicolas Paciello and CinqSens did it!
Make Easter a coffee moment.
Make the egg a coffee break.
Make chocolate an opening to coffee.
What a funny idea!
Since the creation of CinqSens, L'Arbre à Café has had the chance and the joy to accompany William Assouline and Nicolas Paciello, the founders, and their teams in the coffee offer.
The coffees served in the store are signed L'Arbre à Café and all the coffee pastries are made with the coffees you find in the store, rue du Nil, rue Oberkampf or online.
At L'Arbre à Café, coffee is to be drunk, eaten and crunched!
At CinqSens, the name says it all, William and Nicolas have the habit of celebrating a product and a supplier on the occasion of a strong moment of the year.
Easter is the one of coffee!
So, with Nicolas, we have concocted a beautiful egg, designed by Nicolas, in the shape of a coffee bean.
Shiny, almost golden, the chocolate shell is covered with crushed coffee like a breadcrumb with a contrasting and attractive texture. Inside, the shell is covered with a wonderful ganache created from a cold brew.
Breaking the egg, and it's not easy to decide to do so, reveals what looks more like a chocolate candy than a piece of any egg.
The pieces of beans give a crispness under the tooth, gives a precise and dynamic aroma of coffee, while the shell brings its aromas of Brazilian chocolate, soft and suave, and gives a crunch that barely resists under the tooth. Finally, the spread-like ganache develops in the mouth and offers not a taste of coffee or even a taste of chocolate but a taste of this magical alliance born from two ingredients that have more than 300 aromatic molecules in common.
A real treat for both chocolate and coffee lovers.
A real treat for those who don't like the intensity and strength of coffee.
A real treat for those who like it sweet, elegant and lasts a long, long time in the mouth!
So which coffee did we choose for this creation?
Did you say an egg?
The choice was obvious, since our own coffees, those of Finca Mariposa, are fermented in ovoid vats that we co-created with our producer from Chakra Do Dago.
So the egg is to the coffee that comes from the egg. Who came first the egg or the... ?
So for Easter, give Mariposa!
